		Crème de la Rose... (13) Pink doesn't have to yell at you to be in! (Don't get me wrong, I love bright colors.) But ...Mmmm....creamy ivory, luscious pale pinks and light light purple, it all pulls together into a romantic set that just begged me to add these freshwater pearls, I had laying around as spacers. The pearls are a dusty rose, and  I think they match this elegant set perfectly. I could see this equally as a bridesmaid's gift or jazzing up a gray business suit...very versatile. This set was REALLY hard to photograph correctly, it looks like some of the tiny pink flowers have white centers in some places, but they are actually transparent clear and transparent light amethyst. I took over 40 pictures to get it as close to reality as possible. You are bidding on a total of 13 lampwork glass beads made from Italian Effetre glass. 13 beads: 9 decorated lampwork glass beads and 4 lampwork  spacers (2 in light pink and 2 in pale ivory.) SIZES
Beads are on the petite side 11-12 mm across (diameter), and about 8-10 mm from hole to hole (length), and are made on 1/16th inch mandrels. The 4 spacers are 4.5 mm from hole to hole and about 6 mm in diameter, quite small.

MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs,  and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.
