It was the night of the Oscars, and  Lord of the Rings took nearly every award...I started thinking about Arwen, and her choice to leave immortal life for Lord Aragorn. Ah, what a choice... You however don't have to make quite that choice to wear these beads! You are bidding on a total of 19 lampwork glass beads made from Italian Effetre and German Lauscha glass. 19 beads: 15 decorated beads, 4 spacers. Shimmers in light transparent colors like sea foam, aqua, light turquoise and sky blue.  Entire Strand length is just about 6 inches. MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs,  and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.
