Sinaloa (20 beads )
I have no idea where the name came from...it just popped into my head. Maybe I need a vacation...I wish! But I'm not going to give you a geography lesson- you get to look it up yourself...

These beads I actually made to keep for myself, because they are the perfect colors for me to wear I love greens and browns. But I've decided that someone else gets to have fun designing with these beauties. I'm just too busy right now....This set has a mixture of hues that are all related. The plain brown beads look simple, but there are actually three layers of glass  in each to get these particular browns. Actually all the greens are encased as well, to take the sharpness of the green off, and make them blend so perfectly with the browns.

You are bidding on 20 mostly round beads in very pretty browns, dusty greens, bluish greens with some amber, metallic and clear accents.

SIZES
The 20 handmade lampwork beads are about 10-13 mm from hole to hole, and about 13-14 mm in diameter,  and are all made on 1/16th inch mandrels. There is one encased squeezed bead that is slightly larger about 20mm square and 9 mm thick, a lentil and a little barrel made on a 3/32 mandrel with a 2 mm hole- could work as a slider, otherwise everything is round. The entire strand is just about 8.5 inches long.

Thank You for looking!

MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs,  and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.

You are bidding on the strand pictured. Photos are enlarged to show detail, a ruler is handy to gauge the size of these beads.  Questions? Feel free to email, I love to hear from you!
