Shopping in Carmel (11 )
Ahh....who wouldn't want to go for a fall shopping spree in Carmel?!  I know I wouldn't mind...The cute little houses with the oh-so-perfect window displays, and the price-tags that will knock your socks off...Hm, maybe I'll just stay in my studio today.

It's been foggy along the coast here for days - so these sumptuous jewel like fall colors just came to me; rich amber, dark topaz, ink blue, amethyst and dark ivory! Ahh...I had such a hard time putting this set up for auction - they would look so good on my wrist =;^) !

Not only that - they set contains three REALLY COOL  beads (I hate it when I brag, but I am excited about them.) They are made with the  CBS Saturn stamp -a very cool tool that I don't think has become as popular as it should.  You see lentils everywhere, but not very many Saturn-beads. Anyway these beads are a little trickier to make than just winding the glass on and pressing it. These all have different colors on the center versus rim, then decorated with some coordinating color dots and goldstone stringer.

Also, check out my other auction that has 3 coordinating ( but not exactly matching) square window beads!!!

SIZES
The 3 Saturn beads are on the chunky side 20 mm from hole to hole, and about 11 mm from thick, the 3 round beads are 11 mm hole to hole and about 13 mm in diameter, and the lentils are 15 mm hole to hole, and are all made on 1/16th inch mandrels. The entire strand is about 5
3/4 in long. A total of 11 handmade lampwork beads.

GUARANTEE
All beads come with a money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with your item, for any reason, return it to me within 10 days, and I will refund your money (less shipping charges) promptly, and cheerfully.

MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs,  and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.

You are bidding on the strand pictured. Photos are enlarged to show detail, a ruler is handy to gauge the size of these beads.  Questions? Feel free to email, I love to hear from you!
