 Amber Port (16 beads )
Very rare....because I don't do them very often. (They do have a certain pain-in-the-youknow factor to make well...) These intriguing "porthole" and "window" beads are put together in a thoughtful mix of colors from citrine to amber, topaz, root beer accented with jet black and sparkling goldstone. The mix of shapes and styles are tied together by the colors and eclectic collection of shapes. Sparkly, unique and quite striking if I may say so myself!
These beads are seriously one of a kind.

You are bidding on 16 beads, containing a mix of portholes, window beads, lentils, zoozii pillows and even a couple of round beads (yep- still know how to make those=:^) You also have two "rings" for even more designing fun, one is round and the other one is hexagonal.

SIZES
The beads are all made on 1/16th inch mandrels (except the rings, which have an inner diameter of about 11 mm). The porthole and window beads are about 20 mm from hole to hole, the round beads 12-14 mm.  The entire strand is just about 8.5 inches long.

MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs,  and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.

You are bidding on the strand pictured. Photos are enlarged to show detail, a ruler is handy to gauge the size of these beads.  Questions? Feel free to email, I love to hear from you!
