		MOROCCO SPICE... (20) ...These would look fabulous on sun kissed skin with a black summer dress and a tangerine scarf or hat. I have horded these for too long. It is time to let them go!  I split them into 2 sets, some with raised transparent dots as surface decoration in orangey-topaz, and some with the decorations melted in. You might want to use them together, they match. Included in this auction is also a little experiment, a square bead with a square hole. Kind of fun, I'm going to let your creativity come up with what to do with it. You are bidding on a total of 20 lampwork glass beads made from Italian Effetre glass. 20 beads: 14 decorated beads (7 smooth and 7 with raised dots), 5 spacers (one is a small decorated sliding spacer-the rightmost bead in the picture on the very bottom of this page) and a square hole bead. SIZES
Beads are 11-12 mm across (diameter), and about 8-10 mm from hole to hole (length), and the square bead is 7 mm wide and 15 mm square with a 6mm square hole. Beads are made on 1/16th inch mandrels (except the sliding spacer made on a 3/32 mandrel and the square hole bead made on a 6 mm square mandrel.)

MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs,  and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.
