Just like our thanksgiving table is TOO much, (you know not just one pie... but pecan pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, lemon meringue pie, berry pie) so is this set. Oh so gorgeous, but oh so "too much"...There are transparent beads, opaque beads, goldstone stringer, reduction frit flowers, dots and geometric stringer decoration, and even a lentil here and there. All in all, 20 round very pretty, sophisticated beads in fall colors. There are even two matching pairs (the ones with the dark brown flowers and the ones with shiny metallic flowers.) I've used ivory, taupe, black, brown, amber, topaz with some goldstone sparkle and metallic accents. The design possibilities are endless! SIZES The 20 handmade lampwork beads are on the 8-11 mm from hole to hole, and about 11-13 mm in diameter, and are all made on 1/16th inch mandrels. The entire strand is just over 8 in long. MY LAMPWORK
I use Italian Effetre (also called Moretti) and German Lauscha glass to create these handmade lampwork beads in my studio perched on a hill above the beautiful Monterey Bay in California.

I follow my creativity as I make the designs, and if you see a design you like, bid accordingly as I don't know when the bead muses will inspire me to remake that design. (And I am so busy with special orders, that I rarely even get to put a set up here.)

I carefully create each bead over an open flame, it is then kiln annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln, and each bead hole is cleaned individually with a diamond drill bur.
